DISCLAIMER: These early Las Vegas entries were the first blog posts I ever did. They’re VERY antiquated compared to the rest of the blog.
As I’m writing this, I’m at the end of day three of a five-day-long journey. My current picture count is approaching 200. The “Twitter” website, I fear, can no longer contain the force of my travels. After much deliberation, life experience provided the answer. “Hey, didn’t I once use one of those ‘WordPress’ things for dumping images a few years back?” The answer was ‘yes’! I can even add long-winded text commentary! Technology is so advanced these days.
In all seriousness, I had a minor foot injury last year, and I’ve been out of shape since. My new job starts next week, so this is my last real opportunity to spend a week exercising. I also tend to get a bad case of wanderlust in the spring. Getting out of town for a few days is a good chance to remind myself that staying home is less tiring.
It ended up being a better one than what I booked. I’d be more excited about it if I were planning to spend any time here, but at least it’s inside the casino. By the way, what’s that outside?
Oh. Well, I guess I get a good view of this.
